Security Supervisor
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Duties include planning, scheduling, organizing and directing work, training personnel and recommending applications for employment for discipline, termination or retention.
- Teach and enforce safety regulations, security policy, and procedures to employees at the work site.
- Establish security patrol priorities.
- Identify high risk areas, initiate action to reduce risk exposure and provide guidance and direction to officers under your supervision.
- Perform all duties of a Security Guard.
- Review utilization and maintenance of security equipment.
- Prepare daily and periodic reports to officials regarding activities.
- Take predetermined action and render first aid in emergencies such as accident, fire and illness.
- Communicate with manager regarding security needs and problems.
- Maintain and recommend changes and/or improvements in any and all systems for security guard activities.
- Order, maintain and issue clothing and equipment.
Requirements:
- Own a suitable and approved surveillance vehicle.
- Own a suitable and approved lap top computer.
- Must be willing to travel, including over state lines and overnight stays.
- Must pass ALL required testing and background check.
- Must have a clean criminal and driver’s history.
- Must be flexible and willing to work weekends, holidays and nights.
- Must possess strong computer and internet skills.
- Must be a self starter with the ability to meet deadlines and a strong attention to detail.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and cellular phone.
- Associates/Bachelor’s degree a plus.
- Weapons permit optional.
