Licensed Private Investigators

Requirements:

• Current private investigator license.
• 3 years Private Investigator experience.
• Have a reliable vehicle that can be used in surveillances.
• Have a suitable and approved lap top computer.
• Must posses strong computer and internet skills.
• Must be willing to travel, including over state lines and overnight stays.
• Must pass ALL required testing and background checks.
• Must have a clean criminal and driver's history.
• Must be flexible and willing to work weekends, holidays and nights.
• Must be a self starter with the ability to meet deadlines and a strong attention to detail.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and mobile phone.
• Must have access to database resources
• Associates/Bachelor's degree a plus.
• Weapons permit optional.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Three years PI experience
• Law enforcement experience
• Experience as a loss prevention specialist
• College work with criminal justice
• Military experience with Honorable Discharge
• Experience in the corrections field

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Carry out confidential and discrete investigations and background checks on individuals and companies.
• Perform light undercover operations.
• Conduct interviews to obtain evidence on a wide spectrum of cases and/or information about individuals' character and/or financial status.
• Search computer databases, credit reports, public records, tax and legal filings, and other resources in order to locate persons or to compile information for investigations.
• Write reports and case summaries to documents and investigations.
• Conduct background investigations of individuals, such as pre-employment checks, to obtain information about an individuals' character, financial status or personal history.
