Penetration Test Technician

Subject will perform periodic and targeted penetration tests to identify vulnerabilities and document weaknesses within customer’s networks.

Requirements:

• Requires BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with a minimum 2 years professional IT experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2-5 years actual Penetration Testing experience.
• Delivery of Penetration testing to a range of organizations, agencies and groups.
• Use of a variety of network security testing tools and exploits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend corrective action.
• Proven ability to explain the output of a penetration test to a non-technical client.
• Strong inter-personal and communication skills.
• Report-writing skills / Presentation skills.
• Deep knowledge of IP networking protocols.
• Recent (2007 or later) CCNA or CCNP Certification.
• Manual penetration testing and a deep understanding of IP networking in a security context.
